Romote Control

A friend just posted this on her FB and is cracking me up... LOL.... LOL....

"I think this remote is broken. I've pushed pause, power, sleep, mute, volume, nothing works! I don't understand! I'm pointing it right at the children!:)"

As parents our lifestyle changed tremendously, it started from the day the baby is conceived! This little bundle of joy changes the parents physically (applicable mainly only to mums), mentally, financially, no more coffee, tea, cold meat, seafood etc etc....in fact the world actually changes from round to square and back again......if you know what I mean.... the change is HUGE!!!!

I have put away my remote control for almost a year now. Every now and then I still use it via the phone, or internet. Reminding them gently that parents have super powers, though I can't see them.... but somehow I know what they are up to (it always creeps me out and wonders how my mum managed to do that when I was young).

The thing is, as a child I never understand why I can't have all the freedom I want and to do the things I love. Why are my parents (and my older siblings)always pointing the remote control at me. Instructing me to "mute", "pause", "play", "standby" and so on. Now, being a mum of 2, I finally understood the remote control is powered with love. Every time a button is presses, it's out of love.

Power on parents.... Make sure the remote is fully charged, so that when you point the remote at any of your chid... it channels love more than anything else :-)

Corinthians 13:13
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
